Details of Dean Harding’s Funeral – 25th March 2024

For those wishing to pay their respects, the route of the funeral procession on Monday, 25th March, for Dean will travel via two of his favourite Scouting homes as a last farewell before moving onto the service.

The procession will pass;

• 1st Gillingham Scout HQ at approximately 2.30pm
• Then on to Lower Grange Farm for approximately 3.00pm
• Before finally arriving for a 3.30pm ceremony at Medway Crematorium, Bluebell Hill.

Everyone who wishes to come to the service and pay their respects may do so, Uniform is optional.

The service will then be followed by a celebration of his life and refreshments at Lower Grange Farm.

This is an open invite to all that knew Dean.

The family have requested that only they do flowers. However, one of Deans big dreams was to take underprivileged children from Kent & Gillingham to Disney World, Florida. Unfortunately, Dean couldn’t see his dream come true so his family wish to use his legacy to make this dream a reality.
